Prolux Cleaning, which started in 2012, serves domestic and commercial clients. What stood out to us is their wide range of services, including curtain cleaning.
Curtain cleaning is one of their specialities, alongside carpet and rough cleaning. We were impressed by how well-equipped they are with cleaning machines, especially for deep steaming drapes.
Another plus is that they use Prochem’s cleaning solutions, which are considered safe for kids and pets. That gave us extra peace of mind!
When we talked to customers, many also appreciated the availability of same-day booking and cleaning. On top of that, the team arrives on time and is well-mannered.
Some even say that Prolux’s staff did a great job of handling their silk and linen curtains.
Pricing stuff? Their curtain cleaning starts at £45 for half-length and £55 for full-length. For us, that’s reasonable. They also offer various promos and discounts of up to 10%, so they’re not too harsh on your wallet.
The only thing that worries us is that some of their cleaners don’t pay that much attention to detail. Some customers say that they still leave stains on their carpet (although we’re here for their curtain cleaning).

Regency Cleaning Services (with its elegant name) is a strongly built company with 40 years of experience. They’re on our list because of their expertise in fabric care cleaning.
They clean a variety of designer items, including rugs, carpets, and curtains. When it comes to curtains, we like that they do free site visits. They use these visits to assess the fabric and determine the best cleaning methods based on the material.
As for the equipment, they’re clearly well-equipped. They have a powerful dry cleaning machine that can reach up to 50 ft with 15.2 m of hose, which is apparently perfect for avoiding shrinkage on curtains.
We talked to their clients, and they said that their curtains are cleaned on-site with no mess. The cleaners are also efficient and polite, which is always a plus.
Another customer said the team got rid of the stains on their curtain that seemed permanent. Most are also happy with the company’s customer service.
However, the only thing we did not like was that some cleaners did not follow the booked time. One client said a cleaner barged in so early at their door, saying that they needed to come early since someone had cancelled.

We found them reliable for both domestic and commercial cleaning. Carpets and rugs are clearly their strong suit, but they handle everything in between quite well too.
The range of curtain types they can handle is impressive. They can expertly clean sheer, panel, and French pleat curtains. They also handle various fabrics like cotton and silk.
We also appreciate how they tailor their cleaning method depending on the curtain. They inspect the stain and materials and will either steam clean or dry clean the curtain, whichever works best.
Their customers are also satisfied with their service, describing it as “top-notch”. They enjoyed hassle-free booking and found their team very professional.
Wondering how much? They’re pretty affordable. Short curtains are at £20, long curtains are at £36, and pelmets are at £15.

They focus on sofas and carpets, but they also have other cleaning services, like mattresses and curtains. From polyester to velvet fabric type of curtains, they can make it dazzle for you.
We like that they always lay out the process of cleaning curtains. They got pre-vacuuming, stain treatment, and post-cleaning inspection. They’ll do it at your home, so no worries!
Another thing that caught our attention is their allergy and stain protection products. They have these sprays that lock into the fibres of the curtain. It’s pretty interesting to try.
Their customers are happy with the cleaning procedures and results. They also appreciate their on-time, respectful, and communicative cleaners. Their service is also fast, with accommodating phone staff!
Talk about the costs? They charge £25 for each curtain. We think it’s reasonable, same with other clients saying it’s fair pricing.
