The 10 mini golf courses in London to make lasting memories with your family

Mini golf is, without a doubt, one of the ideal activities for family bonding. It makes your family’s relationship stronger and encourages teamwork.

The relaxed atmosphere allows friendly competition while enjoying each other’s company. The best part is that even the oldest and the youngest can join the game (except for toddlers, of course).

If you’re thinking of having a fun day out with your family, I’ve rounded up the best mini golf spots in London. Feel free to check them out!

Junkyard Golf Club is the go-to mini golf spot if you love to party. It’s a very party-focused venue that gives a nightclub atmosphere. Here, you can enjoy a game with your loved ones under neon lights and listen to loud music.

When it comes to the golf course, the venue houses four wildly themed courses: Dirk, Bozo, Pablo, and Gary. Go for Dirk if you’re into a horror theme. Imagine the silly things you can do with its design while playing.

Nestled in Acton Park, Putt In The Park is a mini golf venue that offers fun in a tranquil and scenic environment. This is the spot to bring your young ones, as kids as young as three are allowed to play golf here.

Their 12-hole course is designed for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course is a good training ground for those who don’t know how to play golf yet. The staff is kind enough to teach their guests the basics of golf, such as how to position themselves.

For seasoned golfers, you can bring your lucky club. Unlike other mini golfs, Putt In The Park allows visitors to have the freedom of playing with their own equipment.

They have a cafe where you can order a drink while playing and grab food before or after the game. I feel so relaxed when we play here while drinking my alcohol-free Peroni.

We like Birdies because of its immersive-themed course. It features a variety of creatively designed holes with unique obstacles. It’s a kooky but fun course to play with your family.

In addition, the place has a vibrant atmosphere. It combines mini golf with a lively bar setting. It serves cocktails and mocktails that you can drink while playing. I love having myself a mocktail while beating my cousins in an intense game.

Lastly, this place has a DJ every night, giving a complete nightlife experience. The DJ plays beats all night, which makes visitors energetic throughout their stay. It feels great playing here while moving your body to the lively beats when it’s not yet your turn.

If you have many minors with you, I recommend visiting here on a weekday. Minors are only welcome until 1 PM every weekend, while they can enjoy the spot until 5 PM every weekday.

I really like the early 1900s British seaside theme of this place. It effectively recreates the charm of a vintage seaside resort with a modern twist. It’s definitely one of the most unique mini golf spots I’ve been to.

To make it fully old school, they have classic carnival games aside from golf. If you miss playing the classic whack-a-mole, you can play it here.

When it comes to food, it’s hard to resist their street food. It’s great to eat tacos here when watching your relatives play. Sometimes, it’s nice to see your loved ones happy instead of playing a game yourself.

This dinosaur-themed outdoor course has life-sized prehistoric reptiles and obstacles. We went here once, and my nieces and nephews couldn’t get enough of the T-rex, which is weird because I thought they would be scared.

The 18-hole course is designed to be both educational and entertaining for all ages. You will learn something new about dinosaurs and prehistoric life while having fun at the same time.

To make the course even better, they put numerous scenic landscapes in it. The course has waterfalls and caves, apart from huge dinosaurs. It will perfectly make you feel like you’re in ancient times.

Also, you can cruise the whole course by riding their mini quad. You can ride their quad with a child as a companion for only £3! It’s a more than affordable price for a moment worth remembering with your little one.

Crazy Boules is the place to go if you want to experience playing golf in a very unique way. They effectively combined golf and boules. I didn’t even know what kind of game boules were before visiting here.

Apart from the game, I deeply appreciate the spot’s relaxed environment. Its vibe encourages guests to be comfortable communicating with one another. A meaningful conversation while playing makes the bond with your family tighter.

Although you can’t eat while playing, you can drink anytime. There are tables near each hole to put your drinks while enjoying a game. A refreshing virgin pina colada can help you strategise how to beat your loved ones.

Situated at the Greenwich Peninsula, CrazyPutt provides picturesque views of the city. You will definitely love seeing the unobstructed city horizon here. The spot’s scenic view makes it a more fun place to be.

The 18-hole course offers a comprehensive mini golf experience suitable for all ages. I appreciate that each hole is designed after famous golf courses worldwide. It’s a testament to their effort to give guests a distinct experience.

In addition, the interactive elements add a dynamic aspect to the game. Its features, like pulley-operated rafts and bridges, make it an outdoor golf course that stands out among the many. It feels like an adventure every time you play here.

It’s visually appealing that Plonk’s holes are designed after London’s iconic sites. It makes the golf course unique in its own way. What I love here most is the hole inspired by the London Eye.

Besides that, the venue is beautifully designed with artwork from London street artists. You will love taking pictures here because of this. The combined ideas from various artists that came to life through their walls are really a sight to see. It’s Instagrammable.

Furthermore, Plonk offers various retro arcade games aside from playing golf. Some nostalgic games you can play here are Shooters, Button Bashers, and Foosball. The highlight of their arcade area is the large collection of pinball machines.

Lastly, Plonk serves different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to its guests. They have a wide selection of cocktails and spirits. I suggest you try Plonker’s Punch for a drinking experience exclusive to them.
