Big Clean Machine is a family business that has been going strong for over 10 years. You can tell it’s not just a job to them. The team clearly knows its stuff, and they work together like clockwork.
Everyone I spoke to during an undercover consultation was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained their pressure washing process in a way that I could easily understand.
What’s even better is that they offer a “stay clean” post-treatment for several types of surfaces. This treatment can prevent algae, moss, and other grime on your property for months, which I find cost-effective.
They offer an extensive range of pressure washing services, but I was especially surprised to see that they do poolside areas too. That’s not something you see every day, and none of the other companies I looked at even mentioned it.
The only drawback is that they have a limited coverage area. They mainly operate in Enfield and its surrounding areas.

What I liked is that this firm had all the right equipment and protective clothing apart from the pressure washer itself. Water was taken from your garden tap into a tank in their van, but power was supplied from their own van meaning they didn’t have to plug into your electricity supply. Sand was the No Grow type, which inhibits weeds and moss for 2 years or longer. You should inspect the finished work and Patrick will put right anything that he missed out..”

“Did a search for a local company to have my driveway jet washed. Spoke to a gentleman on Monday 26 April, he said that he would come and provide me with a quote. His quote was reasonable and I asked if he could jet wash the driveway straight away. He said yes. He was thorough, jet washed the driveway, it came up very well. I also love that they offer flexible maintenance options. This can help a lot in maintaining your property spotless without following a predetermined schedule.
They’re not limited to residential properties too, as they also offer pressure washing services to commercial clients. They can clean driveways, bricks, and even the exteriors of commercial buildings.

They removed the peeling and unsightly modern paint from the bricks at the back of our Edwardian terraced house using the DOFF system in just 2 days. It’s a messy job but everything was carefully protected and they did a thorough clean up job when the work was complete. They even kept a close eye on our neighbours garden and ensured that any little bits of paint were cleaned up from their garden each day. What I really like about them is how informative they are about their services. They clearly explain what equipment they use, and the kinds of dirt they can handle—whether it’s algae or stains.
They focus on three main services: patio, driveway, and deck cleaning. While limited, I think narrowing down their focus helped them refine their skills and consistently deliver strong results in those areas.
Many people I spoke to praised not just the quality of the work but also the team’s knowledge. They were impressed by how quickly the team analysed the problem and came up with an appropriate solution for their property.
The only real downside is the service area. They only operate across Ealing and other areas in West London, so you’re out of luck if you live further afield.

It’s hard not to notice how polite their staff were during our conversation. It’s a huge plus for me because who doesn’t want to talk to a respectful person?
Additionally, they offer a wide range of pressure washing services. They can clean your house’s playground, patio, and more.
Most of their past clients told me that they’re extremely great at cleaning deck boards. They use a stiff brush to scrub the boards, paying close attention to any stains or mildew. After that, they ensure they use the right pressure to avoid damaging boards.
The icing on the cake is that those clients have various types of deck boards, such as composite, wood, and PVC.
However, some people expressed their disappointment in the unexpected appointment cancellation. I can’t blame them, though, as most of them are busy people who have limited time on their hands.

They stripped the paint off and treated the wood and stained it back to a simple dark oak. They also cleaned off the paving stones (which I had also requested) and they cleaned 20 years’ worth of pollotion off of a stone sign at the front of the drive.
