One thing that their customers love about them is their punctuality. Most of the people I spoke to said that their installers always arrive on time at the scheduled working time. Some even stated that they sometimes arrive earlier than expected.
Beyond that, the quality of their bespoke railings is impressive. Some customers said that they were able to obtain the railing design they wanted without compromising its quality.
I also love their private screen offerings. They can fit it at a high level, providing enough privacy if you decide to have it on your balcony.
However, as a family-owned business, they don’t have a big team. So you’d better contact them as soon as possible to secure a slot.

It’s also great that they are skilled enough to make various railing styles. Their team is capable of creating classic or modern-inspired railings to suit different preferences.
I also appreciate their proficiency in installing gate railings. You can see from their extensive portfolio gallery that they installed these kinds of railings in many households in different areas.
As for the pricing, most agree that Dodals charges a reasonable price. When compared with quotes from other companies, their range also falls within the city average. I believe this is one of the reasons they’ve been able to last long in this business
Lastly, I love that they can also install balcony balustrades, such as a series of vertical balusters that support balcony handrails.
That said, it was a bit disappointing that they don’t offer a free quote. This might encourage some potential clients to hire them.

“The men came and fitted a bespoke front garden gate with a self locking lock called a Ken ham gate lock. The finished work is fabulous and professional. They turned up on time and were courteous. They also welded the hinges so the gate couldn’t be lifted and stolen. Love the look of the gate, and so far after 3 days, no one has left the gate open! Not even postmen or delivery drivers. Combined with their 24-hour availability, their commitment to serve throughout the city makes them stand out. You can have their excellent service as long as you’re within London.
What’s unique about their service is that they offer bespoke metal fabrication. They can customise not just railings, but also other kinds of metal works, such as gates, grilles, and more.
Additionally, I love that they offer railing repair services. If you believe your railings are not that ruined, hiring them for repair is a great alternative to replacing your railings.
Lastly, I appreciate them for being the only company on this list that offers mobile welding services. This is great because it eliminates the need to transport materials, resulting in a much faster installation process.
That said, they’re new to this business compared to other companies on the list that have more than a decade of experience. They only have a couple of years under their belt.

“Bradley did an amazing job adjusting and improving our roof terrace railing. He saved the day after a failed attempt by a cowboy welder who did very poor quality, unsightly work and damaged one of our windows in the process. The difference in our experience between the cowboy welder and Bradley was night and day. Bradley is very skilled with metal, courteous and clearly cares about making sure every customer is happy. He also has an excellent eye for aesthetics. He also came back after largely completing the job to make some minor adjustments to the railing so that it would work well with our new roof and secure into the joists for the new decking. What’s great is that they also serve throughout London. Imagine the benefits of a business with extensive experience and a broad scope of service areas, all at the same time.
For materials, they mainly use wrought iron metal on every project they take. I like this material because it offers a great combination of durability and aesthetic appeal.
It’s also nice that they do Juliette balcony railings. It enhances the balcony’s safety while also increasing natural light and ventilation in a room.
Last but not least, I appreciate them for providing various weights of railings to their clients. With them, you can have light to super heavy railings.
The only weak point I noticed is that they don’t have an extensive portfolio gallery. This might leave doubts about their skills and drive people to look for a company that proudly displays previous projects.

I appreciate them for having a downloadable brochure. They are the only company on my list that has this kind of helpful material. This helps people gain a comprehensive and organised view of their services.
However, they have a long duration of quote issuance compared to other businesses. Their quote issuance can take up to two days, unlike most companies that can provide it within 24 hours.

“I couldn’t be more satisfied about the work done at my house. I had railings installed by Marek and, as l am a bit of a perfectionist, l always choose people with my guts, not just the price. Nonetheless this company was the most competitive in terms of prices and although it took a bit of time to get an installation date, l was always kept informed by Brian or Jozef. The result is so elegant and Marek did a fantastic job on a sloppy driveway. Not only is he perfectionist but he left the place spotless, and he is very nice and polite.
