I’ll share my favourite haunts, the dishes that made me weak in the knees, and the stories behind the chefs and restaurateurs who are shaping Greenwich’s food landscape. It’s time to experience this place like a true insider.

Sticks’n’Sushi

Tucked right by the legendary Cutty Sark, Sticks’n’Sushi is where Japanese sushi meets Danish design in a culinary love story. 

The menu here reads like a greatest hits album of sushi and yakitori (that’s grilled skewers BTW), making it impossible not to find something to swoon over. A must-try is the avocado and cucumber roll crowned with salmon tartare and trout roe.

But what makes them stand out is their tamal de cerdo. It’s a Peruvian speciality featuring steamed corn dough filled with pork and wrapped in banana leaves. But if you’re a fan of seafood, try their the patataschca – a whole seabass steamed with tomato, onion, garlic, and ginger.

And don’t miss their daily tapas specials! They’re always a steal and a great way to sample a variety of flavours.

This Turkish gem tucked away in Greenwich is a foodie paradise that’ll transport your taste buds straight to Istanbul.

Sefa’s grill game is strong, with succulent lamb chops, juicy chicken shish, and melt-in-your-mouth kofte (Turkish meatballs). Pair them with fluffy rice and a refreshing salad for a truly satisfying meal.

But if you’re feeling adventurous, try the testi kebab. It’s a dish cooked in a clay pot and theatrically set ablaze at your table. It’s a feast for the eyes (and your stomach).

They’re refreshingly affordable too. A standard cod and chips meal costs around £7.20, while a large portion is priced at £9. This combination of excellent quality and reasonable pricing ensures that you get great value for your money
