How I Reviewed
Clinical Qualifications: I checked the medical training and qualifications of each clinic’s lead practitioners. Experienced dermatologists and plastic surgeons can provide safer care and better results for different types of acne scars.
Treatment Diversity: I looked for clinics that offer several advanced treatment options. A wider selection makes it easier to match the right treatment to each scar type.
Safety for All Skin Types: I reviewed whether each clinic has safe treatments for different skin tones, including darker skin. Experience with a variety of skin types helps lower the risk of unwanted pigmentation changes.
Transparency and Patient Care: I considered how clearly each clinic explains treatments, pricing, and aftercare. Good communication helps you feel informed and supported throughout the process.

London Real Skin starts every visit with care from Consultant Dermatologist Dr. Martin Wade in a Care Quality Commission-registered clinic. That trusted setting helped me feel at ease right away.
One nice touch is the free Observ 520 skin analysis at every consultation, which is great for getting a clear look at your skin. I also liked how they explained each treatment before sharing a personal plan.
For instance, you can also choose Erbium YAG laser treatment or SkinXcell Radiofrequency microneedling. Both help improve uneven skin texture while protecting nearby tissue.
Even better, the clinic offers 0% finance to help spread out costs.
Still, take note that aesthetic nurses and practitioners carry out treatments under Dr Wade’s oversight. The clinic is also closed on Sundays, so plan ahead.

Effective Cystic Acne Treatment
I have been coming to Yasmina for nearly 3 years. She helped me with my cystic acne, now i have returned after trying several local dermatologists for my acne scars. I have 100% confidence Yasmina will show me results once again. Shes very honest and truth and not just marketing and selling herself or the brand for the sake of it. She cares and it shows.

One good option here is microneedling with Platelet Rich Plasma therapy. The treatment uses your own growth factors to help build collagen and improve rolling scars.
The clear third-party reviews they feature on their website are also great. These give clients a better idea of what to expect before booking and help them choosing feel easier.
Another plus for convenience is that the clinic offers same-day appointments and virtual consultations, which make care easier to fit into a busy week.
However, short-notice cancellations have strict fees. Saturday clinics run only once each month.

3. London Skin Clinic

Website: londonskinclinic.london
Address: 101 Harley St.
Contact: 020 3916 6200 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
London Skin Clinic stands out for advanced scar revision led by consultant plastic surgeons, and you don’t need a GP referral to book. This setup makes expert care easy to access!
I also liked how the specialist team builds staged treatment plans, matching each treatment to your skin and scar concerns.
Different methods work together when needed and help support better skin improvement over time. Two of their most popular treatments are the fully ablative Carbon Dioxide laser resurfacing and CoolPeel for deeper acne scars.
They even have a same-day “see and treat” option that can save an extra visit, so busy schedules are easier to manage.
Just keep in mind that the premium approach comes with higher consultation fees. The clinic also opens only on weekdays, with no weekend or evening appointments.
4. Skin Perfection

Skin Perfection brings over 20 years of clinical experience to people wanting smoother, clearer skin. A notable option here is the FDA-approved Dermapen microneedling, which feels more comfortable than older manual rollers.
As part of the process, every visit includes a £50 skin check to track progress and build a personal plan. This keeps each step focused on your skin needs.
Another plus is the flexible payment plan, making treatment easier to manage.
However, while their central London spot is convenient, they’re near the busy Oxford Street area, which can feel crowded after visits. Standard plans also need six sessions for the best results.

Skin Science Clinic takes a calm, personal approach to acne scar treatment in central London. Founder Dr Adil Sarwar handles every procedure himself, giving each client his full focus during care.
Their variety of treatment options are notable. These include the Mjoule by Sciton, dual-depth RF microneedling, and skin brightening serums to improve texture.
The VI Peel is also worth a look if you have darker skin tones and want to reduce pigmentation.
Another benefit here is the well-planned appointment schedule, which supports a relaxed visit and a focus on long term skin health. I liked how the approach feels thoughtful and tailored, not rushed.
However, booking with Dr Sarwar requires a £100 fee upfront, which may not suit people who are still browsing.

Delighted with Dermapen Results
I have struggled with acne scarring/acne for many years and attended a consultation at the clinic. I found the doctor to be professional and empathetic. We proceeded with skincare regimen that the doctor recommended ( ZO skincare) and I have had two sessions of dermapen. I am absolutely delighted with the results, my skin has never looked clearer and scars have faded. The dermapen treatments were carried out with care and diligence. Special thank you to Rachel for being so patient with me throughout the entire process/multiple phone calls! I would highly recommend the clinic
