This might be trivial for some, but I appreciate Composite Decking London for being available every day. This allows you to talk to them during your day off.
Another thing that I appreciate is their service areas. They don’t just provide quality services throughout London but also operate within its nearby locations. I think this adds a layer of convenience if you’re outside the city but still want quality service.
When it comes to composite decking boards, I love the range of colours they offer. Some colours you can have are brown, black, and grey—simple options, but versatile enough to match most outdoor spaces.

“I was very lucky to find Arek on my first attempt finding someone who did composite decking. The balcony in the apartment we had moved to was in a bad state. One thing that I like about London Decking is that it’s a family-owned business. This guarantees a personalised service, as family businesses don’t follow company standards.
Aside from that, I’m also impressed that they’ve been in this industry for over two decades. Lasting this long means they’re a great and passionate family of deck installers.
I also like that they have a speciality. They take pride in being proficient garden decking installers. They can upgrade your garden floor using various composite decking brands.
Speaking of, they offer three brands of decking. They have Millboard, Trex, and DesignBoard composite decking.
What’s great is that they also offer a range of composite decking finishes. Your composite decking can be smooth, grooved, and enhanced.
What I like most is that they will happily dispose of your waste after the job is done without a corresponding fee.
But, as a family-owned business, they have a comparatively small team. This means you might have a hard time availing of their services during peak season.

The roof deck which they replaced was a bit of a tricky job as they had to work around large planters which could not be moved so the replacement deck pattern had to be cut and installed on a bespoke manner. The London Decking Company is the longest-running deck-building company on my list. They’ve been providing exceptional service for almost 30 years!
They stand out in the range of composite decking styles they offer. They have 18 styles of combined Millboard and Trex composite decking boards. They have five styles of Trex Transcend square edge and five styles of Millboard oak.
If you’re confident that you can install the decks by yourself, you can just buy products from their online shop.
As a shop owner, they’re the only company on my list that offers deck-fixing products. They have different kinds of screws, tapes, and clips.
Aside from installing and selling decks, they also provide a range of other services. These are veranda making, cladding, and more.
Their only disadvantage to other companies is their short operating hours. They’re only available for eight hours a day.

What made me include Oilcanfinish Outdoor Living on this list is the recent and only award they got. Jackson Fencing named them as the approved installer of the year 2024.
Another thing that amazes me is that they’re TrexPro Platinum deck builders. This certifies that they’re experts in installing decks using Trex products.
Although they’re Trex experts, their materials are not limited to Trex products. They also offer Millboard composite decking boards.
What’s great is that some of their products have a 50-year warranty. This mainly applies to some of their Trex products, such as Trex Signature and Trex Transcend.
Lastly, I love their other services aside from composite decking installation. Some of them are balustrade installation, gazebo, and pergola making.
That said, I was upset to discover that they charge for disposing of waste materials. It’s not a big deal, though, as you can do it by yourself if you have time.

I admire Browns Landscape for having numerous awards. They hold awards such as the 2022 Arbordeck Awards by Arbor Forest Products and Trex’s Top Spec Trex Deck and Stellar Service awards.
They’re also another TrexPro Platinum deck builder on my list. I wasn’t surprised when I found this out, given that they have two awards from this company.
It’s also nice that they serve throughout London and its surrounding areas. Combined with their expertise, this is a plus point for me.
Additionally, I love the great selection of Trex composite decking products they offer. They have 14 products to choose from.
However, the greatest thing about them is that they install curved composite decking. They own a state-of-the-art oven that allows them to custom-shape Trex composite decking products.
Sad to say, other than Trex, they don’t have any other composite decking brands. So, if you want Millboard composite decking boards, they’re not the ideal company to hire.
