The 10 coolest arenas for laser tag in London that your family will enjoy

There was a time when our plan for a quiet picnic in the park was ruined when it unexpectedly rained.

Desperate to still have fun, we went to a nearby indoor laser tag arena. That decision transformed our potentially ruined day into the most spontaneous and unforgettable Saturday ever.

Watching my nephews and nieces strategise like tiny tactical geniuses gave me a good feeling. It made me realise that this recreational activity can provide the perfect family bonding experience.

If you want to let your family experience what we’ve experienced, I’ve got you. Here are the best laser tag arenas in London for an unforgettable get-together with your loved ones.

1. Laser Tag 2U

Website: https://www.lasertag2u.co.uk/

Address: 71-75 Shelton St

Contact Details: +44 333 090 2320 and [email protected]

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 10 AM to 4 PM

Pricing: £

I like that Laser Tag 2U is available for indoor and outdoor events. This is because they provide a completely mobile service, allowing them to set up laser tag arenas almost everywhere. They can set up an arena at schools and even in your backyard.

They offer packages for birthday parties, adult events, and school events. Each package can be played by up to 50 players or more for an additional fee per head when exceeding the maximum number of players allowed.

There’s also a great range of upgrades they offer. They provide accessories like smoke grenades, bandanas, and more at an affordable price. They even have a sound system you can rent.

2. Combat Laser Games

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 9 AM to 5 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday – 9 AM to 4 PM

I love that Combat Laser Games has added a feature dedicated to adults. They have this unique, safe electric shock pad for extra fun named Hyper Shock. It’s available for players over 16 years old.

I also appreciate that they let people in different age brackets play together in the same session. This is perfect as you can play the game with your kids.

Speaking of, I appreciate the laser tag games they offer as well. The one that I like most is the Total Elimination game, where you have to eliminate all players on the opposite team to win.

3. Laser Quest – Brent Cross

Website: https://lqbrentcross.co.uk/

Address: Unit 7, Staples Corner Retail Park, Geron Way, Brent Cross

Contact Details: +44 20 8633 8860 and [email protected]

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 3 PM to 9 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday – 10 AM to 9 PM
  • School Holidays and Inset Days – 10 AM to 9 PM

Pricing: £

I like that Laser Quest’s birthday packages have pizzas. After all, the packages have “pizza party adventure” in their names. It’s satisfying to eat slices of pizza and drink slush after your game has ended.

Opt for their premium package if you want to use their laser tag arena exclusively. It has many inclusions aside from the exclusive access, such as a special gift for the birthday celebrant, a 30-minute access in a party room, and more.

But if you want to close the entire venue to the public, hire them privately. The venue will be yours for two hours, and unlimited laser tag can be played during that timeframe.

4. Flip Out – Hounslow

I’m impressed with the dark and futuristic arena Flip Out has. It will give you a feeling that you’re a character from a Sci-Fi film.

Their indoor arena is suitable for all ages, making it an ideal venue for birthday parties and corporate events.

What’s great is that it has other games you and your family can enjoy. Some games they have in their venue aside from laser tag are mini golf, bumper cars, and arcades.

Most of all, the packages they offer are a plus for me. All their packages give you two hours of access to the arena. They also come with other benefits like unlimited squash, a party host, and more.

5. GO Laser Tag London

It’s impossible for your kids not to love the Fortnite-inspired guns of Go Laser Tag.

They have three weapons you can choose from and use throughout the game. The semi-automatic sniper rifle inflicts the most damage to enemies, with 20 health points per hit!

I like the optional equipment they sell. They sell two types of gloves ideal for laser tagging and paintballing. Other equipment they sell include beanies and army dog tags.

Most of all, what I love is their venue. You will play in a real forest! It doubles the fun because you enjoy with your family while appreciating nature at the same time.

6. Adrenalin Rush Laser Combat

Website: https://arush.co.uk/

Address: Chiswick Rugby Football Club, Dan Mason Dr, Chiswick

Contact Details: +44 7773 775445

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Sunday – 9 AM to 10 PM

Pricing: £

Adrenalin Rush Laser Combat has two arenas, one in Chiswick and another in Crystal Palace Park in South London. I like Chiswick more because you can access all the games they offer there.

I recognise their effort in making the game enjoyable for all ages. It’s fun playing here because of the well-made barracks where you can hide and shoot your opponents.

But what I appreciate the most is the nighttime laser tag. Nothing beats setting a campfire after a game and spending the evening looking at the starry skies. What’s better is you can have alone time while letting your kids play.

7. Lazer Lions – Surbiton

Media credit: lazerlions

Website: https://www.lazerlions.co.uk/

Address: St Andrews & St Marks Junior School, Maple Rd, Surbiton KT6 4AL

Contact Details: +44 800 470 0892 and [email protected]

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 6 PM

Lazer Lions is the perfect choice for an indoor mobile laser tag. You can either let your kids play or join them in saving Earth from alien invasion.

Aside from the default alien invasion theme, you can request other themes. The most requested theme is Fortnite (who doesn’t love Fortnite?). Their popular video game-inspired shooting range is more than enough to make your kids happy.

You can book a laser tag kids’ party so your kids can enjoy the game with their friends. The party will grant them unlimited ammo to ensure they will have the time of their young lives.

8. Lazer World

Address: Spindle Way, Crawley RH10 1TG

Contact Details: +44 1293 551461 and [email protected]

  • Tuesday to Friday – 4 PM to 8 PM
  • Saturday – 10 AM to 8 PM
  • Sunday – 10 AM to 6 PM
  • School Holidays (Monday to Sunday) – 10 AM to 5 PM

Pricing: £

Lazer World is a laser tag venue made for kids’ parties and corporate events. It’s nice to book a game here for events like birthday parties, Christmas parties, and team building.

I appreciate that they accommodate guests on school holidays every day. This means you can come here when your kids have all the time in the day to tire themselves out playing a fun game.

Lastly, I love that their place is dedicated solely to playing laser tag. Unlike other venues, they don’t have other indoor games that can take up significant space, making their arena relatively bigger.

9. Gravity MAX – Wandsworth

Media credit: gravitymax_uk

Website: https://gravity-global.com/max/wandsworth

Address: Wandsworth High St

Contact Details: +44 330 159 5815 and [email protected]

Operating Hours:

  • Monday to Friday – 10 AM to 7 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday – 9 AM to 5 PM

Pricing: £

I love the distinctive laser tag experience Gravity MAX offers to guests. Their immersive laser tag game combines traditional laser tag with virtual reality technology.

The virtual arena is a standout attraction at the venue. It makes you feel like you’re playing outdoors while you’re under a roof. This makes them the perfect place to be outside “virtually” during bad weather.

Aside from laser tag, I also love the other games you can enjoy, such as augmented reality darts and bowling.

10. Topsy Turvy World

Media credit: topsyturvyworldbrentcross

Website: https://www.topsyturvyworld.com/

Address: L1, Prince Charles Dr

Contact Details: +44 20 8359 9920 and [email protected]

Operating Hours:

  • Monday and Tuesday – 10 AM to 4 PM
  • Wednesday to Friday – 10 AM to 6 PM
  • Holidays (Monday to Sunday) – 9:30 AM to 6 PM

Pricing: £

I appreciate the laser tag party package Topsy Turvy World provides to kids. It gives you exclusive access to their arena for two hours. No other players, just your family, your kids’ friends, and a lot of fun.

Aside from the laser tag arena, the package gives you access to all the play areas as well, though not exclusively. It’s a great option to experience all the games they offer in just one go.

Speaking of, the other play areas they have are playgrounds. Simply put, they designed their place for your kids’ pleasure.
