The 5 best office rentals in London to elevate your workspace

Choosing an office space can significantly enhance your working environment. A space with high-end finishes, modern amenities, and an aesthetic can inspire creativity and productivity in people.

It can also strengthen your company’s image by projecting professionalism and success. Clients and partners often perceive businesses in high-end office spaces as credible and reliable.

The Big Smoke has several prestigious neighbourhoods that are ideal for office leases. In this blog, we tackle the best office rentals in London with affordable and strikingly stylish workspaces.

How much does an office rental cost in London?

An office rental in London costs between £180 and £950 per month, depending on location, size, and type of space.

How we chose the best office rentals in London

  • Value for money: We picked the ones that offer comfortable and flexible office spaces for budget-friendly prices.
  • Customer service: We selected those with helpful staff throughout the process, from viewing available spaces to the day of move-in.
  • Understanding client needs: We looked for office space rental agencies with staff who comprehend the requirements, expectations, and client desires.
  • Range of options: We opted for companies offering several types of workspace, such as serviced offices, large offices, and virtual offices.

1. FreeOfficeFinder

One of the good things about FreeOfficeFinder is the wide range of office locations. They can get you an office in various areas of London, particularly in Central London and Greater London.

We appreciate the great selection of office types. They have shared spaces, serviced offices, and large offices. The spaces they provide can accommodate a single person or up to a thousand people.

What’s great about the offices they offer is that they’re all ready for occupancy. Unlike other offices, you can move into the office immediately once things are settled.

The flexible rental options are also a green flag for us. They can let you rent a serviced office for a minimum of three months or up to more than two years.

Lastly, we commend them for not charging their clients for brokerage fees. The landlords or the office providers pay them through funding.

However, we’re a bit disappointed that some office details in their listings are outdated.

Pros

  • Wide range of office locations
  • Great selection of office types
  • All-inclusive pricing
  • Flexible rental options
  • Plug-and-play offices
  • Free assistance

Cons

  • Outdated information in some listings

They were extremely helpful

“I used FreeOfficeFinder to assist with securing new office premises.  I found the service prompt, informed with both verbal and written (email and text) confirmation of viewing appointments and all the necessary details.  Will was extremely helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend FreeOfficeFinder to anyone looking for an office, it really helped to coordinate all viewings rather than dealing with a number of contacts/agents. We secured our new premises within 10 days of registering and are extremely happy with our new office which ticks all the boxes in terms of cost, location and facilities provided. Roz”

Couldn’t recommend them enough

“Working with Will Muncey was a great experience. We couldn’t recommend him enough. We started our search with next to no idea what we were doing. So grateful to have found Will: throughout the process was incredibly diligent. He found office spaces that other agents we’d spoken with simply weren’t aware existed. He took full ownership of the search – identifying the best options based on our rather strict criteria – and arranged viewings and provided schedules to make the process hassle-free on our end. He was incredibly responsive and professional, and his attention to detail made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. Most of all, he really seemed to care. He also negotiated a fantastic deal for us. 10/10.”

The first thing we noticed about OSiT is that they offer an extensive range of spaces. They have serviced offices, meeting rooms, and even virtual offices. These options make them an all-in-one provider for your space needs.

Another notable feature for us is the themed office designs. It’s rare to see offices with Alice in Wonderland design. They currently have seven offices with interior designs that will delight your clients.

We appreciate the wellness-centric facilities as well. Most of their offices have sit-stand desks, gym studios, and wall art. These simple things can help people be productive and stay comfortable throughout the day.

We also love the short-term leases they offer in some spaces. They have offices you can use for one day every week, with a minimum of a three-month licence.

The only disadvantage we noticed is that they don’t offer large offices. This limits their services to small and medium-sized companies.

Pros

  • Extensive range of space types
  • Themed office designs
  • Wellness-oriented facilities
  • Short-term licences
  • Event spaces

Cons

  • No large offices

Everything was very smooth

“Everything was very smooth, easy to deal with and clear from the first phone call and e-mail until the after event communication. Jess is amazing, excellent customer service and a great eye for details. The group was really impressed by their super well designed and classy facilities and the service provided by the friendly and welcoming staff. Having a café at the rooftop with a nice view of London was a great way of finishing our event. Thank you Jess and team for helping us to provided a top experience to our clients! We’ll definitely come back.”

Fantastic office space

“Fantastic office space, with the most attentive, helpful and genuine ‘never say never’ staff. My company has been here for almost 3 years, and the Office Space in Town team are truly wonderful to work with. A special mention to Sophie who rescued my event which was being broadcast across to the whole company worldwide! Thank you Sophie! Re-reviewing after 4 years at OSIT Monument, the team continues to deliver year after year and we are very happy with their service. A special mention to Savannah this time who is very helpful and a pleasure to work with.”

Landmark’s longevity is a big factor for us. They’ve been helping companies find offices for over two decades. This shows their experience in handling companies of various sizes with different desires.

We really love that their office designs are customisable. This gives their clients the privilege to achieve the exact office setup they have in mind. They are the ideal company to visit if you have a visual plan for your office.

We also love the variety of space types they offer. They have private spaces, coworking spaces, and more. Every client’s needs are different, so this variety gives them more flexibility in choosing.

Last but not least, we like to point out that they have top-quality amenities your people would love. The most notable is the barista-style coffee machines within the office.

However, there were times when they took a long time to respond to some of our queries. It’s not a dealbreaker for us, but it’s definitely something they can improve.

Pros

  • 20+ years in business
  • Bespoke office design
  • Great variety of offices
  • High-quality amenities

Cons

  • Occasional slow communication

Thank you so much Landmark team

“We had a three day function with Landmark which was executed exceptionally well! Sophia was so helpful with all our many queries, providing suggestions, and coordinating our function overall. The lunch and breakfast catering was very good and catered for all dietaries. The room had audiovisual capabilities and a microphone/speakers which was very handy. A special thank you to Augustyna, who was so friendly, helpful and attentive over the last three days – she was very accommodating to all our requests and queries and helpful with the technology! Thanks again to the Landmark team.”

Beautifully decorated, modern, and welcoming

“Landmark Office Space is beautifully decorated, modern and welcoming. The Chancery Lane team, go above and beyond to cater to tenants’ requirements. Agnieszka Wozniak Fernandes (Aga), in particular, has on countless occasions exceeded our expectations. We’ve also had the pleasure to work closely with Leanna Bowen, Rachel Venson, Hasty Fard and Georgie Cash over the past few years. Keller Lenkner UK Ltd. is a group action & multi-claimant law firm. We enjoy the services provided by Landmark.”

We admire Love Mondays’ connection to various office providers. They are partnered with companies like BizSpace, Knotel, and Servcorp. This allows them to offer a broad selection of office spaces.

We admire their personalised office matching approach too. They are eager to find their clients the best office spaces tailored to their needs.

We also appreciate the interactive tools on their website. Tools like a price calculator and a quiz about your dream office help them pinpoint your needs and budget. This can significantly fast-track the process of finding the right office for you.

What we love most about them is their free, professional service. They act as an independent broker, offering services free of charge to find a space and negotiate on your behalf.

However, their dependence on third-party providers can result in inconsistent experiences for different clients. This is because the quality of the space they may offer can vary for every partner they have.

Pros

  • Free, independent service
  • Wide network of office providers
  • Personalised service
  • Interactive tools

Cons

  • Dependence on third-party providers

Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and honest

“After looking for an office for around 6 months, I came across Jimmie on LinkedIn. I reached out and we had a great chat where he really listened to what I needed. He sent me a shortlist the same day of very relevant options which we went to see together. Thanks to Jimmie and his support throughout the process, we secured the perfect office for us in London. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, honest and well connected in the office space industry. I would highly recommend reaching out to him even if it’s just for some advice. Thank you Jimmie for your time, effort and for finding us the perfect space!”

Reliable and hassle-free office acquisition

“We have worked very closely with Jimmie and the Love Mondays Office Space team for a number of years now. The office procurement process is made so much easier for us as we provide details around type of space/ scope and Jimmie will provide a list of office spaces for us to visit over the course of a specific timeframe (usually a day) and around our availability. Jimmies property knowledge, office portfolio and relationship with providers really speeds what can be a very complicated, stressful and administrative heavy process. I would 100% recommend working with Jimmie if you are looking  for a reliable and hassle free office acquisition.”

One of the things we really love about Flex Office Solutions is that they can get you an office in various regions of London. They have connections in the northern, western, southern, and eastern parts of the city.

We also appreciate the scalable options they provide to their clients. They offer solutions that can grow with your business, whether you have a small or large company.

We love their simplified approach to searching for property as well. They provide curated office space options, allowing you to make an informed and fast decision. This, in turn, streamlines the process of acquiring your desired space.

Most importantly, we appreciate the free assistance they offer. They provide free expert guidance and guarantee the best deals to their clients.

The only downside of working with them is that they don’t directly manage the spaces they provide. This can affect the service quality and response time you might get when problems arise.

Pros

  • Offices in various regions
  • Free assistance
  • Scalable options
  • Simplified search process

Cons

  • Lack of direct management

The experience was outstanding

“I used Flex Office Solutions to help my charity find a new office space, and the experience was outstanding. I worked directly with Tony, who was knowledgeable, patient, and always available to assist. He took the time to understand our needs and provided solutions that perfectly aligned with our team culture and budget. Tony accompanied me all over London to view various options and also assisted with negotiations, contract reviews, and every other detail. We are so happy with our new office and would definitely use these guys again if we ever need to move. Thanks, Tony and team!”

-Roxi Jafarifar, Google Review

We are now their lifelong clients

“We have known Tony for over 5 years now and can confirm that he has the patience of a saint. We had the pleasure of meeting Matt last year and hes also an absolute gem. The two of these chaps have spent countless hours trying to accommodate our (very specific) needs and they have succeeded every time. Come rain, wind, shine or snow – these guys have always been ready and willing to tour with us. We are now their lifelong clients and if any queries for office searches come our way – Tony and Matt are the only guys we refer to. Simply cannot recommend them enough.”
