How I Reviewed

Material Quality: I checked if each company uses high-quality materials for strong, long-lasting concrete. A solid mix helps prevent cracks, sinking, and expensive repairs later.

Pricing Transparency: I looked for companies that give clear quotes before work begins. Knowing the full cost upfront helps avoid unexpected fees.

Delivery Speed: I reviewed how quickly each company can deliver concrete to the job site. Fast service helps keep projects on schedule and reduces delays.

Local Experience: I considered how much experience each business has working in London and following local building requirements. Strong local knowledge often leads to smoother projects and better results.

Smooth and Professional Concrete Service

Great experience with Pro Mix Concrete. I ordered liquid flow screed and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. The team was professional, on time, and very easy to deal with. The quality of the screed was excellent and exactly what I needed. Definitely one of the best services in Croydon.

Excellent Communication and Reliable Service

Used Pro-Mix for the first time for a concrete slab for my garden shed—great experience! Communication was excellent, they arrived on time, and the driver was polite and professional. He even cleaned up outside after the job was done. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Concrete Singh helps keep jobs within budget by mixing concrete right on site, so you only pay for what you need.

With over 15 years of experience, they’ve created a streamlined process that cuts material waste while ensuring fresh concrete is delivered right on time.

Before each pour, on-site slump tests check the mix for the right feel and temperature to keep quality high.

I used the service for a back garden job, and the crew checked my formwork first to make sure it was ready for the wet concrete.

Plus, delivery costs are included too, so there are no surprise transport fees.

One thing to note is that the service only covers concrete supply and pumping. You’ll need a separate contractor for laying and finishing, and commercial jobs still need a 28-day curing period.

Pros

  • Over 15 years of industry experience
  • On-site quality control testing
  • Cost-saving volumetric mixing
  • Delivery costs included

Cons

  • Requires separate laying and finishing contractor

Professional and Efficient Concrete Supply

Had two lorries from them one after another and a separate two man pumping team. The staff were polite and professional and got on with their job of supplying and pumping concrete to the newly dug foundations. Price was also competitive compared to others I enquired with. Overall good service that I will recommend. Ordered and received on the same day.

Professional and Reliable Concrete Service

Really impressed with the service from this concrete company. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally — clear communication, on-time delivery, and high-quality work. The team was reliable and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend them to anyone needing concrete work done right.

Rapid Readymix Concrete Ltd helps keep jobs affordable without cutting corners on quality.

Their mixers make fresh concrete right on site using clean, separated aggregates, and a price match guarantee plus no part load fees help keep costs in check.

Every batch meets British Standards, too, with sample cubes tested in the company’s own South London lab for extra peace of mind.

I recently watched the crew use special pumps to reach a tight back garden without dragging muddy gear through the house. That careful setup made a tricky spot much easier to work with.

One thing to consider is scheduling. The office is closed on Sundays, and late-night deliveries cost extra as out-of-hours charges.

Fast Response and Helpful Driver

What a class company!!!

I had a team of three waiting for concrete, miles from home. They were let down by the supplier I’d booked in. We needed to get the job done, otherwise a lot of time and money was going to waste. Called Rapid Readymic and spoke to Denis, who organised a lorry to be with the team in 20mins!!!! Which turned up even sooner. Driver was absolutely spot on and helped the lads get the concrete out. Denis even called the team leader onsite to check everything was ok!!!! Highly recommended.

Excellent Service and Knowledgeable Staff

We found the service and product quality to be excellent and exactly as we expected. We particularly found the staff member who delivered the concrete to be very knowledgable and was hands on to ensure the delivery went well. We also needed more than our original order placed which was again not a problem as this was on the vehicle and job was done there and then.

5. Easymix Concrete UK Ltd

easymix-concrete-uk-ltd

Website: easymix-concrete.co.uk/locations/hertfordshire/

Easymix Concrete UK Ltd helps keep busy London jobs on track with steady delivery times and flexible on-site mixing. 2-hour delivery windows, plus same-day or next-day service, make planning easy when your schedule is tight.

The trucks mix fresh concrete right at the site, so the crew can adjust strength or slump if the weather changes.

Plus, BSI Kitemark certification also gives extra peace of mind that each batch meets top-quality standards.

Another helpful feature is the line and boom pumps, which can move concrete up to 100 metres over walls or through tight spaces.

However, it’s worth considering the extra time needed for pump setup and washdown. Late cancellations also come with fees, so it pays to plan ahead.

  • BSI Kitemark certified concrete
  • Line and boom pumps reaching 100 metres

Impressed With Professional Concrete Service

I recently used EasyMix Concrete for a project and was thoroughly impressed with their service. From the outset, their team was incredibly helpful, providing expert advice on the best type of concrete for my needs and setting clear expectations for the delivery day. The staff who arrived to mix and pump the concrete were outstanding; not only were they professional and skilled, but they also took great care to avoid any mess, which was much appreciated. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company.

Helpful Team and Efficient Delivery

Fantastic from start to finish. From ordering and booking to delivery they were all really helpful and the price competitive. The delivery driver, in particular, went out of his way to assist with a difficult delivery, helping to ensure the concrete was pumped directly into a hard-to-reach trench. Thanks guys.
