2. I Hate Ironing

I Hate Ironing—something we can relate to—has been serving London since 2014.
Fortunately, we can’t hate this service because we can easily book it through their app. It’s a valet service, to boot!
What got us hooked is the convenience. Clothes are collected by third-party drivers and can be delivered back wrinkle-free within a day or two, depending on the service area.
Another thing we liked was the pricing. Starting at £2.65 for a regular shirt with a £20 minimum order, this is reasonable enough given the hassle-free experience.
Plus, the services are insured at 15 times more than the quoted fees.
One thing we didn’t like, though, is how drivers occasionally run late or don’t follow the schedule. Some are downright inconsiderate and ignore schedule changes without prompt communication.
However, the management is quick to check on issues and find resolution.
Considering everything, though, we’d be hard-pressed not to enlist this service given our busy schedule.

Green Laundrette & Dry Cleaning is a brick-and-mortar shop owned and managed by a professional with more than 36 years of industry experience.
Several of the customers we interviewed have been going to the shop because of the budget-friendly cost and service dependability. Some even noted that the staff accommodates walk-in requests 30 minutes before closing on Sundays!
One of the shop’s advantages is that it accepts cashless payments.
Furthermore, it offers pickup services in surrounding areas such as Marble Arch and Mayfair. Even better, it provides same-day service for an additional fee!
However, with these quick turnaround times, quality issues may occur. We noticed some of the ironed clothes were still damp, and a few customers also complained of mix-ups and missing items.
Overall, we can overlook these mishaps, as the shop’s management is quick to acknowledge oversights and make reparations.

Chelsea Green Valet provides ironing solutions for items such as vintage couture and wedding dresses, along with modern and eco-friendly options. While they’ve been serving Central London since 2009, their industry experience spans generations.
The couture service stood out to us the most. Given their specialisation, we’re confident that our treasured and delicate items would be in good hands.
After all, they even have an impressive roster of clients, including Baroness Goudie.
To see what everyone was saying about them, we interviewed their clients. Several people said they trust this shop to smoothen the creases on their expensive clothing.
However, mishaps can happen to anyone. We talked to one customer who found some slight damage to a fragile dress.
Another downside is their steep prices for regular use, so that’s something worth noting.
Overall, we can’t recommend this shop enough for their variety of ironing solutions, which they have tested through time as part of the family tradition.

Lily Wash & Dry Cleaners is a tidy little shop in Fulham known for its service on suits. Plus, it caters to wedding dresses and different types of clothes in general.
One customer we interviewed was impressed at how the creases on her wedding dress were removed.
After trying it ourselves, we can’t help but notice how crisp our suits were after being cleaned and ironed. We also observed that the owner personally oversees the shop, and we liked their helpfulness.
However, several customers have reported online that some staff are inconsiderate, especially with older persons having problems with self-service.
Additionally, others reported seeing water stains on their ironed clothes.
Overall, what we liked most about this shop was their budget-friendly offerings. For example, you can get two suits ready for Monday at a lesser price than just one!

We picked Diamond Tailors & Dry Cleaners for our list because they’ve been in business since 1999! By this time, they’re already way past the trial-and-error stage in ironing services.
We were thrilled to hear from several of the shop’s regular customers, who said Diamond TDC has been solving their challenging ironing problems for over 10 years. Now, that’s impressive!
During our visit to their shop in Watney Market, we found their prices reasonable and turnaround times quick. They also offer convenient online booking for valet service.
However, we did notice some inconsistent service. Because the shop can get quite busy, some staff members seemed unhelpful during peak times.
With all things considered, we think that this company is rather professional, given that our orders were quickly fulfilled with minimal hassle. Some of their prominent clients, like Vanda Jacintho and Mulberry School for Girls, can attest to that!
