A life coach? Why do we need other people to tell us how to live? Can’t we just wing it?
Well, when you’ve been in countless moments when you’re just at the mercy of life, having a clear direction starts making sense. There are just times when the right guidance can really boost your soul.
To that end, our team got together to give London’s best-known life coaches a try. We polled our regular readers, checked out the coaches getting the most mentions on platforms like Facebook and Instagram, and basically tested all we could to find the top ones!
How much does a life coach cost in London? The cost of a life coach in London starts between £50 to £70 per hour, but it can go up to £150 per hour or more depending on the track record of the coach. It also depends on the type of program you’re in. |
How we chose
- Certifications and Training: Just like you wouldn’t want an untrained chef making your sushi, we picked coaches with top-notch certifications.
- Approach and Style: We prefer life coaches whose style and approach are flexible and adaptable for a wide range of clients. That’s why we have practical, action-oriented coaches, as well as those who offer warm, inviting conversations and thoughtful advice over multiple talk sessions.
- Value for money: We naturally preferred life coaches who offer great value without breaking the bank. Sure, your future is priceless, but your wallet has feelings too!
- Proven Results: We opted for life coaches who can show tangible results from their coaching sessions. Just like you wouldn’t buy a car without test-driving it, you want proof that their guidance actually works.

Opening hours: Monday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Approach/Style: Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology (MSc) | Holistic, communication-based coaching (oral, verbal, nonverbal and listening)
What we loved best about Danny Rahim is that he offers life coaching for both individuals and groups. He also offers packages ranging from 6 to 12 weeks, with each packaging targeting different areas of personal growth.
Clients also have the option to do the coaching sessions either in-person or via Zoom. We appreciate these options since coaches only offer either, but rarely both.

Finally, out of all the life coaches we’ve encountered, Danny offers the most competitive rates (even his group rates cost less than most). Plus, booking his services is super-easy, as it can be done via his website.
Pros
- Offers life coaching for both individuals and groups
- Flexible coaching packages
- Sessions available in-person or via Zoom
- Competitive rates
- Easy booking process via his website

Beyond this, we also value her approach to life coaching, which clients say is very supportive. In particular, most of them noted how bright and dynamic she is, often making sessions more fun and enjoyable.
On top of that, her sessions only cost about £125 to £450, making her a good choice for those who want both affordability and flexibility. On the other hand, it may be limiting for those who want something for the long term.

Location: 9 Vanderbilt Rd, London SW18 3BG, United Kingdom

Opening hours: Monday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Tuesday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Approach/Style: CBT | Consultation, strategy-based, and goal-oriented approach
With qualifications in life coaching and a focus on improving communication in relationships, Annie Fontaine offers a personalised touch that clients rave about.
During our interviews with past clients, many praised Annie for creating a safe space to explore their thoughts and goals.
One of the best things that Annie offers is the flexibility of her programs, which range from short-term life plans to intensive long-term coaching.
Rates vary from £1,280 to £4,680 depending on the level of support required. However, some potential clients might find the lack of upfront fee disclosure a bit off-putting, as costs are discussed only after the initial consultation.
Clients can choose between one-on-one sessions or group coaching. This is a plus in our book because this option usually isn’t available with other coaches.
Additionally, we love the live call sessions, which provide regular and interactive support throughout the program. And packages ranging from 10-week courses to 6-month programs, there’s something for every goal.
Pros
- Flexible programs and packages
- Competitive rates
- Offers one-on-one and group coaching
- Has live call sessions
Cons
- Unclear upfront fee
I have done two of 3 month sessions with Annie, first to help me with regaining my core self and values after a relationship breakdown and secondly to help with daughters anxiety. I am so calm and stable since the sessions almost nothing rattles me anymore. Particularly helpful CBT reframing, coping mantra, wants and needs and values.
