  • Holistic approach to massage
  • 20 years of service
  • Easy booking and paying process

Cons

  • Can get pricey
  • Inconsistent hours

We were intrigued by Massaggi because of their proven results and established clientele. After trying them out, it wasn’t hard to see why they have established themselves as a massage clinic in London.

This massage place has been serving for over 20 years and is led by Ben Pianese. From what we’ve seen, they specialise in a holistic approach toward massage.

Their founder, Ben, actually had the idea for this business because of his own journey with post-surgical pain. This led him to explore different methods and have a deeper understanding of pain and its underlying pathology.

One of the things that set them apart is that aside from massages, they also have unique wellness methods. They have coaching sessions using the “Magrin Method”, for example.

This is a technique for emotional release by Andrea Magrin. As we mentioned, they really go deeper than just massages and even address mental health issues.

They also have other unique massage techniques such as NST Bowen Technique massages and reconnective healing massages.

As for the different kind of mainstream massages and treatments they offer, check out this list below:

  • Sports massage
  • Deep tissue massage
  • Lymphatic drainage massage
  • Pregnancy massage

Their pricing starts at £ 80, which is a bit more expensive compared to other wellness clinics, so that’s something to consider.

Booking an appointment and paying for it is intuitive, based on our experience. Plus, should you have any questions, their staff are friendly and very welcoming.

Founded in 2007, Spa & Massage has made their name as a Thai massage spa in London. After trying the place ourselves, we can clearly see why.

The moment you enter the spa, you are welcomed warmly and are even offered some herbal tea. The staff are friendly and approachable, they’ll answer your questions thoroughly.

The spa is also very well-maintained and equipped, from what we’ve seen. It’s easy to feel comfortable and at ease there.

The vibe of the whole place is very relaxing and the therapists are easy to talk to.

They have a wide range of treatments available including the following:

  • De-stress massages
  • Deep Tissue
  • Remedial
  • Physiotherapy
  • Reflexology
  • Aromatherapy
  • Pregnancy massages
  • 2 Therapists massages
  • Sports massages

Their prices are upfront and are very reasonable. Should you want regular sessions, they have packages that will help you save money.

Booking a session is intuitive through their online form. However, based on our experience, it’s best to give them a call to set your appointment.

We do wish they offered more information on their website. Their website is a bit outdated, making it hard to look through their services.

Cons

The moment you step in Nisa Thai Massage, you’ll be welcomed by a cosy atmosphere with dim lighting, candles, and soft, gentle music in the background. The decor mixes western modern and the eastern traditional.

It really sets the mood for a relaxing massage. Plus,  the staff are very warm and approachable.

They have a wide range of massages available depending on your preference. However, their specialty is Thai massage.

There are two types of Thai massages, namely Thai Traditional Massage and Thai Combination Massage. The prices for these massages are affordable, starting at £37 for 30 minutes.

Other massage types include aromatherapy massage, deep tissue massage, back, neck, and shoulder massage, pregnancy massage, reflexology massage, Swedish massage, hot and cold stone massage, sports massage, and body scrub massage.

If you want two therapists working on you at once, you can opt for the 4 hands massage. They also offer couples massages if you want to be treated at the same time and in the same room as your partner.

If you want to check how much a particular massage costs, their pricing structure is very upfront. You may see it here

The affordability really depends on the type of massage. Some massages can get expensive.

After a massage, you can lounge around and relax in their steam room. It’s a very pleasant experience and is very affordable at £40 an hour.

Booking online is intuitive, we just find the user experience on the site to be lacking because it’s a bit outdated. They require a security deposit to secure your slot.

We love Balance Massage & Wellness because they’re so accessible in many ways. They’re open every day with consistent hours.

Their location is also highly accessible and easy to find. They’re located near Oxford Street in Central London.

Plus, you also have an option to book the massage service at your home or office should you not have the time to go to their spa yourself. We find this so convenient and perfect for those who are very busy at work.

In fact, many companies trust them with the following services:

  • Office Chair Massage
  • Corporate Events
  • Hen / Pamper Parties
  • Trade Show
  • Home Visits

Do know that these types of services are subject to availability. So make sure to coordinate with them first to get a quotation.

We also like that they have a wide range of services available depending on your need.

They have the classic massages like Thai massage, aromatherapy massage, Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, and 4 hands massage.

Couples will also like to know that they offer couples massages and even a workshop on couples massage.

Aside from these, they also offer short lunch break massages for those who don’t really have the privilege of time but need a quick massage. They also have slimming treatments, different kinds of body treatments, facials, and physiotherapy.

Booking an appointment is easy enough, we just hope the user experience could be better. The pricing varies on the type of massage, some are affordable while some are at a pricier range.

There are some reports of problems with scheduling online.  To be sure, we suggest booking by calling them.

Make sure to confirm your slot before going to the spa.

Pros

  • Wide range of services

Cons

  • Can get pricey
  • Inconsistent hours

Asiatic Thai Massage is a center that offers clients a wide range of wellness treatments such as massages and yoga classes to help them take proactive steps in restoring bodily health sustainably and naturally while at the same time relaxingly.

We like that their techniques combine both innovation and authenticity and each of the leading techniques that they employ on their massages and classes are all research-based which has been tried and tested already.

Furthermore, they also make it to a point to tailor their services to the preferences, concerns, and comfort of the client to ensure that clients don’t overexert themselves and take the said treatments at their own pace for optimal results afterward.

Note though that their cancellation policy is quite strict and clients who fail to cancel their appointment 24 hours before being charged in full won’t be eligible for a refund either as well.

Overall, with their certified and experienced personnel, versatile and evidence-based procedures, and comfortable and well-equipped facilities, we highly recommend them to clients in the area looking for such services in the area.
