How I Reviewed

Expertise and Qualifications: I looked at each osteopath’s training, experience, and professional credentials. I gave higher ratings to clinics with practitioners registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

Treatment Approach: I checked whether each clinic offered more than one treatment method. I favored clinics that combine hands-on care, modern equipment, and personalized treatment plans.

Patient Convenience: I considered how easy it is to book an appointment and reach each clinic. Flexible hours, good transport links, and simple booking systems all earned extra points.

Overall Value: I compared treatment costs with the quality of care provided. I also looked for clinics that offer fair pricing, concession rates, or insurance billing to help clients get better value.

1. Osteopathy London

osteopathy-london

Website: osteopathylondon.co.uk

Address: 31 Roman Road

Contact: 0203 488 0366 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday 2:00 PM–9:00 PM | Tuesday to Thursday 9:00 AM–9:00 PM | Friday 10:00 AM–4:00 PM | Saturday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM

Osteopathy London makes care easier with flexible hours and simple booking for busy days.

I’ve found that the free 15-minute phone chat with clinic director John Mallinder helps patients talk through concerns before their first visit.

Beyond that, the clinic includes a 60-minute first session with hands-on treatment, not just a check-up.

Plus, John is fully registered, takes direct Bupa billing, and offers lower rates for students and retirees, making care easier to reach for many.

One thing to note, however, is that AXA/PPP and Aviva claims aren’t taken due to visit limits set by those insurers. Parking can also be tight, so planning ahead may help avoid delays.

Pros

  • Flexible appointment times
  • Registered osteopath expertise
  • Direct Bupa billing
  • Same-day hands-on treatment

Cons

  • No AXA/PPP or Aviva coverage
  • Limited parking options

Gervais Is Kind and Inquisitive

One of my favorite forms of self-care is going to the osteo, and it’s thanks to Gervais that this experience has been beyond any expectations I might have had after I moved to East London and had to leave my previous osteopath, who I adored. Gervais is kind, inquisitive, and really takes the time to address any issues you might have. He’s helped me alleviate and manage my back pain, which I appreciate! Highly recommend this place, especially Gervais.

Reliable and Consistent Osteopath

I’ve been having osteopathy with John on and off for around 10 years or so now; he’s always been reliable and consistent, and I trust him completely.

He is highly skilled, professional, gentle, friendly and kind. Has never made assumptions, and always checks in before doing a release to make sure I’m happy for him to go ahead.

I don’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone I meet who seems like they could benefit.

Thanks John for being a good egg…and osteopath!

Central London Osteopathy & Sports Injury Clinic brings expert care backed by years of experience treating Olympic athletes and World Championship finalists.

From what I’ve seen, their sports-focused work helps people dealing with injuries, joint pain, and recovery needs. It’s also great that they mix osteopathy with sports medicine methods and a team-based approach for complex cases.

A huge plus is that they have whole-week availability and emergency slots. These make it easier for patients to get care when schedules get busy during the week.

However, just be aware that Bupa and AXA/PPP insurance aren’t taken here, so patients pay directly. Some staff also need phone bookings instead of online scheduling.

Pros

  • Elite sports injury experience

  • Team-based treatment approach
  • Central location

Cons

  • No Bupa or AXA/PPP coverage

Amazing Session and Lasting Relief

It’s been a little while since my session, and I’m honestly still speechless about how amazing Fabio is. After just one appointment, I already felt like a completely different person, and the benefits have continued over time.

In the past, I often found that the pain would return not long after leaving an osteopath, but this time has been completely different. The improvement has lasted, and I’m genuinely impressed.

Fabio is incredibly skilled, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Truly a 5-star experience.

Great First Visit and Quick Relief

Just had my first ever visit to an osteopath with Hibah and it was great. I had a sudden pain started in the morning and also another problem occuring for a while. She helped me for both within a single appointment.

3. My Osteo London

my-osteo-london

Website: myosteolondon.com

Address: 97 Mortimer Street

Contact: 44 020 7965 7218 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM–6:00 PM

My Osteo London helps people manage jaw tension and TMJ pain with a focused approach for stress-related pain and dental care needs. This clinic uses a whole-body approach instead of just looking at the painful spot.

A real highlight here is that the clinic director, Charlotte, brings over 10 years of experience and has built a signature Buccal massage method.

There’s also support in French and English, which helps clients explain their concerns clearly. With this, appointments feel more comfortable and easier to follow.

On the downside, sessions may end when concerns fall outside the clinic’s scope. Clients in these cases may need referrals to specialists like neurologists or GPs for more support.

Pros

  • Jaw treatment specialization
  • Over 10 years of expertise
  • Bilingual clinic support
  • Holistic assessment approach

Cons

  • Out-of-scope issues require referrals
  • Limited treatment scope

Charlotte Is an Amazing Osteopath

She really cares about your well being. It’s nice to be able to go to someone who you can trust especially with your back. Her adjustments are awesome.

I always feel like new afterwards. She also give you helpful tips to make sure your back stays in tip top shape between adjustments.

You will not regret having her treat you !

Holistic Approach and Genuine Care

With her holistic approach, genuine care and professionalism, Charlotte is just the best osteopath I’ve come across. Much better than other professionals I’ve been to.

I work in sports and always recommend her to my clients as well as family and friends, especially since I had treatment with her myself for a trapped nerve in my neck/arm.

The experience felt like magic. Thank you Charlotte !

Expert Treatment for Marathon Training

I can’t recommend Matt Wood at Evolution Osteopath highly enough! After struggling with a hamstring issue that was impacting my London Marathon training, Matt’s expert treatment, including dry needling and Focused Shockwave Therapy, got me back on track. His knowledge, professionalism, and approach to treatment were outstanding, and I felt real progress after just a few sessions. Thanks to Matt, I’m back running pain-free and feeling confident about my training again. If you need an osteopath who truly knows their stuff, Matt is the one to see!

A key feature of the clinic is IDD spinal decompression, a gentle, non-surgical treatment option designed for stubborn spinal conditions.

It’s also notable how they aim to ensure lasting recovery here. To do this, the team develops personalized prevention plans and home rehabilitation routines.

Fantastic Service and Quick Recovery

Fantastic service! I had one massage and two osteopath sessions which helped a lot during a crisis. I was made to feel at ease, nothing hurt and most importantly I was put safely on the road to recovery.

Patient and Attentive Osteopath Care

I have been taking my mother to see Shane for the last couple month for a stiff neck which was causing her an increasing amount of pain. From her very first visit she felt the effects of the treatment soon after and has continuously seen improvements from weekly sessions. Shane is patient, attentive and very knowledgable so we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced osteopath! Even though my mother doesn’t speak much English, he quickly made her feel at ease and has even picked up a few Cantonese words along the way 🙂 thanks Shane!
