If you’re looking for a coliving space that won’t break the bank, Pollen CoLiving is a great option. They have four different homes to choose from, with the rent starting at £650 a month.
That price is inclusive of rent, utilities, council tax, WiFi, cleaning of the whole house including rooms and en suites, gardening, and maintenance. All you really have to do is move in.
You don’t need to deal with the administrative hassle that usually comes with renting a place.
When you enter their homes, you can see that it’s made up of bright, lovely, and efficient spaces conducive to coliving. The communal spaces are fun to hang out in because they’re safe, clean, and quiet with modern furniture.
As with the other coliving spaces, they’re designed for young professionals. They really foster a sense of community here, which helps you feel more at ease with your surroundings.
The rooms usually have a double bed, bathroom en suite, a smart TV, keycode lock to keep you secure, and ethernet in case you have to work remotely.
Their staff is also amazing, always sympathetic to your concerns and quick to act when issues arise. They’re warm and friendly, you can approach them easily, especially the landlord Pip.
Do take note that the places are located in quiet residential areas mostly, which is why the rent isn’t as expensive. However, if you’re looking for a place closer to the local scene, it might be best to check out the other coliving spaces on this list.
Granted, they don’t have a lot of activities available here unlike competitors. However, if you’re looking for a quiet and safe place to stay without the fuss, they’re a great option for you.

The Collective has three locations, two of them being in London (Old Oak and Canary Wharf) and the other one being in New York City. For this review, we checked out their coliving space in Old Oak.
What we like about The Collective is how flexible the contracts are here. You can dip your toes in and try the place for a few days first, and then decide on a 3-month, 6-month, or 12-month contract.
The rooms include WiFi, a 24” TV, cotton bedding, an en suite bathroom with a rain shower, and regular cleaning and linen change.
What sets them apart is their complete amenities. They have a gym with a £50 joining fee, spa and sauna, cinema and playroom, washing machines and tumble dryers, 24/7 reception, and cultural events.
The location is also really accessible. For Old Oak, central London is a 20-minute tube ride away.
Based on our poll of their residents, most agree that the staff is very friendly and accommodating. A lot of them also mention how convenient the whole setup is.
However, since there are a lot of amenities and the location is very accessible, the overall rates are a bit on the expensive side, based on what we’ve noticed. So that’s something to consider.
We also find the site a bit cluttered, making it difficult to look through their services.

We like how the company values trust and community, and this shows in the way they run the homes. We like how easy it is to feel at home and ease in your surroundings here.
We like that they have a secure screening system that ensures everyone is safe and is in similar life stages. We also appreciate how friendly and approachable the staff is, so it’s easy to voice our concerns.
They also have a very streamlined process from start to finish. We noticed how easy it is to look for places because they have an online system where you can filter homes based on area and price.
You may access that here. You’ll usually get a good range of places depending on your budget, most of their homes are within industry price, which we like.
However, do know that their contracts aren’t as flexible compared to the others. Most of the Lyvly leases are for one year, however, you can also consult them should you need to leave before then so you can work something out.
All their homes are fully furnished and the rental payment includes all utility bills, cleaning of common areas, WiFi, smart TV, council tax, household consumables, and support during your stay.
We did notice, however, that, unlike other companies, they don’t include room cleaning, so you may have to arrange that yourself.
We like that individual leases are personal to you and don’t include the usual administrative hassle you encounter in other coliving spaces. They also have a member portal that makes this process so easy.
The good thing is that you can move in between Lyvly homes, making it convenient if your work requires you to move around. You also have a 24/7 hotline when needed.

Mason & Fifth is a bit smaller compared to the other coliving spaces on our list, with their Italian Building accommodating only up to 28 people. We included them still because of their streamlined processes and overwhelmingly positive customer feedback.
After seeing the place ourselves, it wasn’t hard to see why a lot of people enjoy staying here. For one, it has a large living room, kitchen, courtyard, laundry, and even private studios when you want some “me” time.
The contracts are also pretty flexible, with leases ranging from 3, 6, 9, and 12 months depending on your needs.
We like that they have an on-site house manager who can attend to your needs and concerns. We also like that they have fitness classes, meditation, breath-work, talking circles, and other social experiences available.
Their studios are chic and fully furnished. So all you have to do is move in.
We love their rich attention to detail as seen in their en suite bathroom with a waterfall shower, kitchenette with Smeg appliances, luxury mattresses, and beddings, bespoke linen storage bed frames, and beautiful art.
The location is also really good because it’s located in Bermondsey, recently voted as the best place to live in London according to The Sunday Times. It’s a 20-minute walk to the city, with a lot of transport links so it’s easy to get around.
However, the prices can be a bit steep with the rooms averaging from £1800- £1950 a month. So if you’re on a tight budget, it’s best to check out the other companies on our list.
